Ten for the weekend.

1. a very generous friend treated us to a mini break to Hay on Wye and we couldn't have asked for more beautiful weather 2. trailing pondweed that hid endless small fishies 3. a shop called The End had some amazing finds including these beautiful insects 4. and jars filled with small bones 5. and these taxidermied deer heads, it was a fine line between magical and macabre 6. hours were spent in this labyrinthine bookshop which used to be the town cinema 7. fish and chips by the river, the perfect date in my books 8. finally!  I couldn't be any prouder 9. the first broad beans from the garden 10. a friend I made on a long walk home.
