happy new year.

Happy new year.  
2013, you were my year of transition; the year I spent more hours than I knew existed typing in the library, the year I finally finished university, the year I found out I was pregnant, the year I moved house twice (once leaving all my possessions in storage), the year James became a doctor and the year that Faelen entered our lives.  It has been busy, exciting, exhausting.

I have a feeling, looking at this little fellow who already shines personality and demands to be sat up all hours day and night to view the world, that the changes of this year are going to be far more momentous.  Perhaps, 2014, we can leave the transitions behind and focus simply on growth?
