A brief interlude in the typical Welsh downpour occurred this weekend which excited James and I so much we went impromptu camping. The best kind of camping I believe. We threw sleeping bags, Thermarests and the tent into the car as quickly as possible just in case the sky noticed and changed her mind. It was totally worth it.
Because the rest of Wales appears to have some common sense, the campsite was almost empty which meant we got the prime position on the edge of cliff over looking the bay. We drank cheap pink fizzy from plastic cups and had a midnight walk along the beach.
In the morning this grumpy fella visited us..
That's one to tick off my summer list.
