The long sunday afternoons.

Douglas Adams created a character who enviably and quite accidentally, stumbled across the power of eternal life.  After initial joy at the discovery, this would have continued to be alright had it not been for the Sunday Afternoons.  They drove him quite miserable.  I, however, live for Sunday afternoons.  I cannot shake the sluggish, leisurely feeling even as I am revising.  Sunday afternoons are for reading, drinking tea and enjoying sunshine or if you live in Wales, watching the rain out your window.  Then, Sunday afternoon leads to Sunday evening, which is all about trying to forget the obligations brought by Monday.

Sunday evenings are also helped if your boyfriend is a whizz at poker and you come home a tenner up.
